Apply pre-emergent (19-3-7) on or around April 15th (Don't forget to pay your taxes!)

Apply pre-emergent to lawn Begin to plant annuals Start fungicide on roses Apply Merit or Dylox for grub control switching every other year Fescue: Mow at 3 to 3.5 inches. Mowing twice a week. Fine blade fescue should be mowed at 2.5 to 3 inches Bluegrass: 2.5 to 3 inches in height (never remove more than 1/3 the growth height at any one mowing).

Third to fourth week of May adjust controller from a twice a week watering schedule to a three time a week schedule and increase your  water budget to 90% (never applying more than .22" per application). Activate your drip zone for one day a week.

1. Call HUNT IRRIGATION for your Sprinkler Winterization! 2. Plant fall bulbs for Spring blooms. 3. Apply lawn winterizer. 4. Decrease watering schedule for turf twice a week at 70% water budget. 5. Decrease drip schedule to once a week.

1. Cut back perennials after 1st frost, clean up flower beds. 2. Dig up frost tender bulbs (Cannas & Hyacinths). 3. Mulch rose beds. 4. Call professional for lawn aereation. 5. Till garden adding in compost for winter break down. 6. Continue to water twice a week for turf at 70% water budget and once a week for drip zone.
