The Program
Once you have contacted the office our process begins.
- Our Scheduling Manager will gather all the pertinent information about your device/s.
- Next, we schedule our backflow tech to arrive on site at a time convenient for you or your staff. A confirmation text will be sent when the tech is on his way.
- Our tech will arrive to complete your backflow test/s and record the results.
- Our tech will place the results of the test on a survey tag, sign, and date the survey tag.
- Your tech will place the results of the test on a survey tag, sign and date the survey tag
- Once the test is complete, if repairs are required, they will be completed (if possible) at the time of service.
- Once the testing is complete and your device has passed, all testing and repair information will be filed on your behalf with your water purveyor and a copy of the report will be sent to you with your invoice.
- If this was the first time we have tested your device we will add you to our database. This will help to ensure that your backflow device is always tested on time.

Why do Backflow preventors need to be tested annually?
Backflow preventers are mechanical devices and have internal seals, springs, and moving parts that are subject to fouling, wear, or fatigue. The State of Nebraska and the City of Lincoln require all non-irrigation related backflow devices to be tested on an annual basis.
